  Siddharth Jain : I have appeared AIPMT, DPMT, MAHE, VMMC (Pre). Here are my ranks for these exams

• ETG: Any other achievements?
  
  Siddharth Jain : Yes, I have appeared some other Olympiads exams like NSTSE, NSO and IBO. 1^st rank in NSTSE, 4th rank in NSO and qualified for International Biology Olympiad 2009 (IBO).
  
  

• About preparation for the examinations?
  
  
  1. ETG: How many hours in a day did you study to prepare for the examination?
     Siddharth Jain : I prepared for exams approximately 10 hours daily.
  2. ETG: On which topic and chapters you laid more stress in each subject?
     Siddharth Jain :
     Physics             -              Modern
     Chemistry        -              Organic
     Botany             -              Morphology, Diversity
     Zoology            -              Physiology
  3. How much time does one require for serious preparation for this exam?r /> Siddharth Jain : Two years of serious preparation is enough.
  4. ETG: Which subjects/topics you were strong/weak at?
     Siddharth Jain : I was weak in the cramming portions of botany and zoology like animalia.
     
     
• ETG: In your words what are the components of an ideal preparation plan?
  
  Siddharth Jain : Unfailing hard work, don’t leave any topic, stay focussed, don’t neglect recreation.
  
  
• ETG: What role did the following play in your success : (a) Parents (b) Teachers (c) School.
  
  Siddharth Jain : (a) Parents - constant moral support and guidance.
  (b) teachers - helping in my doubts solving, guidance on the important topics.
  (c) school building a good base and help me to focus on NCERTS.

  Siddharth Jain : Father - Dr. D.K. Jain (General Surgeon)
  Mother - Mrs. Saroj Jain (Gynaecologist)

• ETG: What mistake you think you shouldn’t have made?
  Siddharth Jain : Should have focussed more on the physics NCERT.
  
  
• ETG: Considering other hot careers today for eg. Infotech, Biotechnology, why do you still want to be a doctor?
  Siddharth Jain : For job satisfaction and personal interest.
